ADMISSION
The CATANDUANES COLLEGE
admits to its students body only those who posses good moral character and
personal integrity and maturity of purposes behavior befitting a college
student. A committee on Admission hears admission cases and issues
supplementary rules on admission. The College reserves the right to refuse
enrolment or re-enrolment to the following:
- Students who have poor
scholastic records, especially those who, in the previous term,
obtained grades below '3.0' or 75 percent and/or 'incomplete' in
60 percent or more of their academic load, or who for two consecutive
terms previous school year have obtained such grades in 40 percent of
their academic load.
- Students who have
physical or mental illness, contagious disease, or other sickness
which may be aggravated by the burden of college studies.
- Student with
disciplinary cases considered grave by the Committee on Discipline.
- Students, who have
participated in, incited, caused or led acts of violence, vandalism
and other forms of utter disrespect for law and order.
- Persons who have been
convicted by a competent court of crimes involving moral turpitude or
crimes and violence.
- Persons known to be or
have been associated with elements, groups or movements that tend to
subvert our democratic institution.
- Persons of dubious moral
reputation.
- Persons considered by
the Committee on Admission as not measuring up to the pursuits of
higher education.
- Persons whose attitudes,
conduct and behavior tend to undermine the orderly processes and are
not contributing to the promotion of the general welfare.
